  • FAQs
Can I bake a Ready to Bake Pie that is thawed in the refrigerator?

Our Ready to Bake Pies are designed to bake from a frozen state. In order to get the best quality product, we recommend that you do not allow the pie to thaw before baking.

Can I bake two pies at once?

You can bake two pies at the same time. Simply preheat your oven to 400 degrees and bake for 10 minutes. After that, reduce the heat and follow the regular baking instructions as listed on the pie box. Since ovens may vary, you may want to take a peek at the product during the last 15-20 minutes of the baking process. You may want to cover the edges with foil if you notice they are getting too brown.

How long can I keep a fresh baked pie, or cream pie?

For best quality, we recommend using our fruit pies within 3 days, if kept at room temperature. Thawed cream pies should be kept in refrigeration and eaten within 4 days.

Didn’t include the card I had filled out.

I had written a note to my Aunt who has just lost her husband. It was supposed to be included with the delivery of the pies. I was very disappointed that my note didn’t accompany the pies that I had delivered and that my Aunt needed to call me to see if I had delivered the pies to her. It appears that the option of including a note isn’t working properly. Had I known I would have notified my Aunt of their arrival in advance.

Something really wrong!

After much debate about spending so much for a Caramel Apple Pie we decided to give it a try. Baked for 80 minutes in a 350 oven checked with an external thermometer. First impression out of the oven was "Where is the pile of oatmeal streusel shown in the pictures?" Our pie was sunken in and topped with a thin flat layer of caramelized brown sugar and a very few pieces of oatmeal. After 3-1/2 hours the pie was completely cooled so we tried to cut a slice only to find a puddle of watery liquid and mushy raw pastry on the bottom. What an expensive disappointment! Our only guess is that somewhere along the line this pie was thawed for a while then re-frozen before we bought it. Such high hopes, sorry but never again.

Wrong address.

I live in Salem, and can buy these pies whatever I want and I think they are delicious. I love your pies. I'm not sure what happened, but the pies got delivered to me when I was meaning to deliver them to my friend whose birthday is 3/14. He lives in Virginia. I can't be sure this is my fault for entering the wrong field, or what exactly happened. But I now have three delicious, though very expensive, pies in my freezer.

The pies ordered for friends for Pi Day arrived on time and extremely well packed including dry ice. Happy friends!

Great Pies

Pies and cobblers arrived still frozen. It’s a good value! Might seem expensive but the pies are big and the quality is the best. We discovered them on a visit to Washington, we’re hooked.
